How to Take A Bath to Change Your Bathing Experience

“Who doesn’t know how to take a bath?”. This is the natural question on everyone’s mind when it comes to this topic. And it is a legitimate one too. However, almost everybody knows how to take a bath, but very few actually know how to do it in the perfect way.

Factors to Consider

It is perfection we are talking about today. So, get ready because you are about to be educated. How do you take the perfect bath, you might ask? Well, what a coincidence! I have the answer right here with me:

1. Clean the bathtub in advance

Because the bathroom is a moist environment, it is bound to become the place for bacteria growth. This means that the only way to make sure your bath will be germ-free is to thoroughly clean your best freestanding tub prior to any showering or bathing experience.

And by cleaning the bathtub I mean using a professional cleaning solution at least twice a week and use lukewarm water and light scrubbing before any bath or shower.

2. Fill up the tub

There are precisely 2 things I mean by that:

  • Make sure the water is just the proper temperature (about 38 degrees Celsius at max)
  • Fill it about 2/3. Your body will occupy the rest

As long as you keep these 2 things in mind, you are already on the good path to start with.

3. Essential oils

All you need is just a few drops to get things going. Simply by adding some essential oils is enough to fill your bathroom with perfume and gorgeous, long-lasting scents. There are tons of different aromas, which means you won’t have any problem finding the right one for you. You can also use high quality bath bombs in the bathtub because these are filled with essential oils.

Not only it will perfume your body, but it will also definitely lift up your spirits for the rest of the day.

4. Give it a good scrub

You can’t rush your baths. That’s a sacrilege. This is not like showering. You need to take your time and clean everything as best as you can. Use a quality shampoo and an equally qualitative shower gel for a long-lasting refreshing feeling.

These products are meant to greatly enhance your bathing experience, which is why you should never miss on quality when choosing them.

5. Upgrade your bathtub

Obviously, this isn’t something you need to be doing every time you take a bath. Once is enough. By upgrading your bathtub I mean getting one that is better in every way. Look for increased comfort, a versatile design, great design and composure and so on.

You might also want to look for a more versatile shower head like rain message shower head in order to bring a different taste and feel.

6. Get yourself a smooth body wash cream

The only way to end a proper bath is to resort to a good body cream to top it all off. This way you will enjoy a soothing, cooler sensation throughout the day and you can’t really put a price on this.

What’s more important is that, after the bath, your pores will be open, which means that the nourishing effect of the cream will be even greater.

7. Clean your bathroom afterward

Remember the thing with bacteria I mentioned earlier? The same thing applies here. Whenever you take a bath you will have foam, shampoo and soap spots all over the bathroom, shower doors and walls. The same goes for the water. And, if you want to prevent mold or bacteria growth in time, this is what you must do.

It won’t take you too much time, but the effects will be all worth it. Use a clean rug to remove all the water and the soap deposits wherever you can find them. Keeping everything clean is essential in the long run.

Change Your Bathing Experience

I know you will not follow all the advice that is provided above because everyone’s style and taste are so different. But my point is, if you follow just a couple of those tips your bathing experience will change altogether. After all who doesn’t want a pleasant bath?

To make a summary, what you need is:

  • A high-quality bathtub and a shower
  • Top cleaning products, shampoo, soap, shower gel
  • Obligatory body cream treatment afterwards
  • Essential oils to spice things up
  • Setting just the precise water level and temperature
  • Cleaning the bathtub both prior and after bathing
  • Scrub-scrub-scrub

If you are determined to change the way you bathe for good and bring it to the next level, this is how you do it. There are no corners to be cut. Either go big or go home!
